We believe that the vast
majority of educators, at both the K-12 and higher education
levels, are dedicated professionals with a sincere interest
in helping prepare their students for success after
graduation. If faculty members in colleges of education are
informed of topics that will make their graduates more
effective, they will include them in their courses. For this
reason, we will develop role-specific sets of competencies
targeted directly to the 46 different teaching roles
identified in the list below.
