The AECT Project's surveys of the
importance of different technology strategies and
prerequisite skills are open for viewing not only by the
expert panels, but by others as well. We know that teacher
educators will want to see the results, as will teachers and
others, too.
When you click the link at the bottom of
this page to access the results, you'll see a screen that
looks like this...
First, use the pull-down menu on the left
to select a teaching role, as shown in the illustration
below. (Only the first few of the 46 different teaching
roles are shown in the illustration.)
After you select a role, you will be shown a table of
results for that teaching role, for the technology
strategies under the first educational goal, "Build Strong
Relationships with Students." (In the illustration below,
the numbers are all zeros because this introduction was
created before we opened the rating process to the public,
and because we dont' want to use an image that shows data
that is out of date. When you use the site you'll see
up-to-the-minute results.)

To see the results for strategies classified under other
educational goals, use the pull-down menu, as illustrated
below. The process for viewing the ratings for technology
prerequisite skills is similar, with a pull-down menu for
teaching roles on the left, and a set of categories of
skills and knowledge on the right.
